After a long delay here's my final outfit in the Corfu Style Diaries which I wore on our last night on holiday. It features this gorge bargain jumpsuit from H&M which I managed to pick up in the sale for £7. It's super comfy, flattering and effortless - the perfect holiday piece. Unfortunately, when we were walking back to the apartment I managed to deck it and rip a small hole in it :-( (a few too many cocktails I think haha). To style it I added silver jewellery and a chunky belt to synch it in and add definition to my waist.

Corfu Style Diaries - #3
This is definitely one of my favourite outfits I wore because it's a DIY I did before I went on holiday. I made the skirt last year from a tutorial and wanted a matching top to make a co-ord from the material I had leftover. After searching to try and find a tutorial for a boxy crop top I couldn't find one with the kind of shape I wanted, so I adapted a top pattern from a New Look pattern I already had, by cropping it to the waist, adjusting the darts and enlarging the sleeves so they were looser fitting. I'm really happy with how it came out and how it looks with the skirt - I'm definitely going to makes lots more of this style of top in different prints and decorative touches, it feels so satisfying wearing something that you've made yourself!

Corfu Style Diaries - #2
So here's the second instalment in my style diaries, which is almost head to toe Primark. I absolutely love this monochrome printed top, and I'm so glad I managed to find it, I definitely think it's either hit or miss in Primark, or my local one anyway. The maxi skirt is an old purchase from a few years ago, I found it in the back of my wardrobe and had only worn it a couple of times, but I thought I'd go really well with the top so I decided to take it - not going to lie it made me feel a bit sassy swishing around in it haha. The skirt has some shorts attached (just to let you know I'm not actually showing off my underwear ;-)).
To tie the look together I added turquoise accents in my jewellery and wore a pop of pink lipstick to add a bit of colour.

Corfu Style Diaries - #1
Here's the first outfit in my Corfu style diaries, and it's quite a simple, laidback look. I'm currently obsessed with this necklace combo from H&M, my Topshop cat eye sunnies and these gorge truffle collection sandals - these were my go to accessories and shoes of choice throughout my holiday. Cat eye sunnies are super flattering on a range of face shapes and luckily these suited mine (I always struggle to find ones that do), they also make any outfit look chic. I also mostly chose these sandals to wear in the evening because they're really comfy, add a bit of height and go with a multitude of summer outfits.
This outfit also features my patchy burnt legs, which I stupidly burnt on the first day.. and the apartment owner's cat who we called Lola, she was so cute.

Typical Winter OOTD
| Jumper & Jeans- Topshop, Scarf & Coat - New Look, Boots - H&M |
I'm back!!
After not posting since September (where has time gone?!) and with it now being 2015, I thought it was about bladdy time to get back into blogging again! 2015 is definitely going to be a big year for me, especially since I've applied to university and have a couple of interviews coming up this month, as well as my 18th birthday eeek!
Anyway, here's one of my current favourite outfits featuring my scarf that my friend gave me for Christmas, as well as some recent purchases. I've pretty much worn this scarf every day since I received it, I love how it's dogtooth and tartan, definitely one of my favourite presents :-).

Wishlist #1
Soooo, here are a few things I've had my eye on recently. As per ususal there is a lot of black, but you know I really love all black everythaaaang.
River Island Floral Collared Top
This top is so beaut, as you may know I love shirts/collared tops and this one ticks the dark floral trend nicely. I'm forever reblogging photos/paintings of roses on tumblr and this print is gorgeous. Sometimes I think that floral prints can be overly girly but this print is balanced by the black and boxy shape.
Topshop Katz Cut Out Shoes
Currently dying over these shoes, I seriously need these in my life! I think they're so chic, and will go with anything, adding sophisticatin to any outfit.
H&M Velvet Belt
I've been after a belt with a chunky gold clasp for ages after losing my beloved vintage one at a festival in Nottingham in the summer :-( However I came across this one which is perfect, and I also like how it has a velvet texture which makes a nice change from leather.
H&M Chiffon Tassle Blouse
Even though this top is a bit more boho than my usual style, I think you could style this piece multiple ways, and also wear it undone as a kimono.
River Island Dogtooth Trousers
I love dogtooth but am yet to own anything in the print, and I really love these trousers. With them being monochrome you could pair virtually any colour top with them, and they could easily be dressed up or down.
So there are my picks for November and I think a few of them will probably be going on my Christmas list :-)
What fashion items have you been lusting after?

Last Summer OOTD
Dress - Primark
Cardigan - H&M
Belt- H&M
Shoes - Forever 21
Bag - Accessorize
Hat - H&M
Okaaay, so this should have been posted a few weeks ago as summer is over & we are now into A/W but hey ho :-)
This was one of my favourite late summer outfits, really casual and comfortable but the dress is so flattering & cute & a complete steal for only £5! Good old primark, even if everyone and their mother probably has one of the £5 dresses haha. As I've mentioned before I absolutely love my bowler hat, so much so I have to stop myself wearing it all the time otherwise it would never leave my head! I do think it really completes this outfit, along with black accessories & shoes which tie the whole ensemble together.
Hope you like the look,
Em x

So come out of your cave walking on your hands, and see the world hanging upside down..
Cami - Topshop
Shorts & belt - H&M
Cardigan - H&M
Sandals - Forever 21
Necklaces - Miss Selfridge
Longest title ever but I love a bit of Mumford & Sons :-)
On holiday we found this cute little beach with this big cave which I thought would be the perfect backdrop for a OOTD. Not much colour in this outfit but I really like how simple it is, and I wanted to make my shoes the focus because I absolutely love them. I originally saw the gold Jeffrey Campbell spiked sandals on tumblr and fell in love with them, and luckily I found this dupe pair on Forever 21 which are pretty much identical, and although I usually wear gold over silver I much prefer this pair - I really recommend Forever 21 shoes, these have to be one of my favourite purchases this year :-)
Still look like a bit of a ghost in these photos despite actually tanning a bit, well tanning for me anyway haha, so I apologise for how washed out I look & also the crazy windswept hair, t'was rather windy but hey ho.
Anyway hope you like the look,
Em x
