Hiiiiiiiii,

Finally back to concentrating on my blog because I have finished exams and school, yeaaaaah. Although saying this, this is the only decent post I've managed to do having been free for two weeks or so now; I have taken a few photos of other outfits but none have really been worthy to post, although I might do an outfit 'snipets' post I don't know yet. But I really need to get a tripod because I can't rely on my sister all the time haha. Anyway this is a simple ootd from yesterday, quite dark for a summers day but hey ho. I realise I look like a ghost in these photos I am so pale, sooooo can't wait to go on holiday and maybe even (fingers crossed) get a tan! :-)

Hello!

So for a while I had the idea to start doing a few styling posts and have been waiting to do them for aaaaages because of school and exams but finally here is the first installment :-)

Yesterday me and my lovely bestie Stacey headed into town to find some street art to feature as the background and we managed to find an amazingly colourful strip away from the busy city centre. It was exactly what I wanted and had visioned to work as the backdrop for the outfit I styled for her; typical grunge street style. I LOVE this look and am so pleased with how the photos turned out, how gorgeous is Stacey?! She wears this outfit so effortlessly and it's such a casual & thrown together outfit, yet has edge with the colour palette and amazing deep purple lipstick by Kate Moss for Rimmel - so wish I could pull it off!
 

Anyway hope you enjoy the photos, we certainly had a laugh taking them!

Hello!

Sorry for not blogging in aaaaages, but it's exam time and all (see 'Quick Ramble'). Anyway here's some photos me & my sister took today, in an exotic new location, haha literally round the corner but it's a change of scenary after all. :-)

Today was a really nice, chilled day, we had a wander round town and had a lovely italian for lunch. I thought I'd feature Katie's OOTD again and make it a proper 'sister' collaborative post, because a) she gets a bit annoyed being behind the camera all the time, and b) yet again she is wearing another outfit I wish I could wear, so it deserved to be part of this post. :-)

As you may already know, I own a hell of a lot of shirts, yet the one I am wore today is the only vintage one out of my collection. My cousin gave it to me from a vintage shop in Brighton; it previously had a large elasticated bottom which I removed to make it into a cropped fit, which I think goes perfectly with my beloved Levi cut offs. I am yet to hem it but at the moment I quite like the slightly freyed edge. To carry on the vintage-ness I added my topshop bag, which I love.

As for the sister's outfit: simple yet cute as always.

I'm really pleased with how these photos have turned out, given that I used the camera on my new phone (HTC One) instead of my trusty Nikon. Which will mean I'll be able to blog more frequently and on the go which is great.

 Also I now have instagram, if anyone would like to follow me, @typicalaquarius :-)

So last night me & my family went out for a lovely italian for my sister's birthday and as well posting my own OOTN, I thought that I'd make Katie's the main feature; I can't believe how chic and grown up she looks, at 12! She puts the style of the 12 year old me to shame that's for sure -.-

Not going to lie, I am insanely jealous of her oufit, mainly because I know I wouldn't be able to pull off what she is wearing like she can, the skinny thing! I absolutley love the floral print shirt, it just screams summer, and the collar less neckline is oh-so-chic. Paired with her simple black skater skirt and perspex top cap shoes - I wouldn't have styled it better myself! I don't care that she has them- I NEED those shoes!

 

As usual, I went for a monochrome look and paired it with gold jewellery.  To wear out, I added my leather jacket, black slipper shoes and my velvet polka dot bag. Sorry for the limited photos of my outfit but as Katie is my resident photographer, I though I'd let her off on her birthday ;-)
